  • WasteWater Treatment Plant​ 
    • Start Date:  7/17/17
    • Progress Reports (Updated 2/19)
    • COMPLETED
    • UV Roof Construction will begin this week (10/21/19)
    • Natural Gas line installed
    • Generator start up test will be scheduled in near future

  • Safe Routes to School III/TAP Park Sidewalk Project (Updated 7/20/17)
    • Awaiting Permission from the AHTD to put the project out for bid.  (1/24/18). 
    • January 2019 - Obtaining right-a-ways and then project will be released for bid.
    • 100% Fed Funded (reimbursable)
    • Down Industrial Drive and around the big ball field - Down Green Apple/Weatherwood from 319 to Wilson - Down Orchard Hollow and left on Chantileer and then back on 319 to Wilson Loop Ext
    • Bid packages will release SOON
  • Safe Routes to School Phase IV (SRTS IV) was approved to be submitted to Metroplan
  • Hwy 367/319 Intersection Improvements 
    • Estimated completion date:  Summer 2020
    • AHTD is the lead on this project.  
    • 1/31/19 - Scope Meeting with Ward Mayor, Ward Street Supervisor, Engineering and Planning members of ARDOT, and members of Garvin Engineers.  Project is in complete redesign.

  • AR Economic Development Grant $200,000 will remove 17 houses off Vacuum Wastewater System, which will eliminate 12 pits 
    • ​Official Presentation by Governor - October 24,. 2019
  • Site Plan for Legacy Farm went before the Planning Commission in September. The homes will be of the design of a modern farm house with a minimum of 2,000 sq ft.
  • ​​2020 AR Parks and Tourism Grant Request: The city's Park and Recreation Director and the Mayor will brief the project proposal to the Committee on October 29. The 50/50 matching grant request is to build a new ADA Compliant Concession Stand, an ADA/All-Inclusive Playground, and a new 200' ball field. More information by December 2019.
