RFP Meter Replacement Project

NOTICE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Ward is seeking proposals for the development and implementation of an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) / Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System or a combination therein. The successful proposer must demonstrate the ability to deliver a system that adheres to the specifications outlined in this document, support the System on an on-going basis, and provide references of similar systems that have been successfully installed and are currently in a production environment. The proposals will be evaluated according to the selection criteria established in the RFP.
As described in 2 CFR § 200.320, contracts will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the City, with price and other factors considered. Additional considerations include contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources as described in 2 CFR § 200.318. In procurement under a federal award, the City will follow the procurement standards referred to in 2 CFR § 200.317. Separate payment and performance bonds each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder.
Requests for Proposals must be received by 2 pm CDT, July 22, 2022. All responding firms will be notified of the award. The outside of the sealed envelope must be marked “City of Ward Water Meter Replacement Project”.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all responses received. Submitters may not withdraw their proposals within 30 days after the date of bid opening. All proposals processes shall be in accordance with Federal & State law.
